Sunset Cliffs Natural Park

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, a 68-acre regional park in San Diego, is located along the western shoreline of the Point Loma peninsula. It was established in 1983, and it offers expansive ocean views, dramatic cliff formations, caves, an intertidal area, and native coastal sage scrub habitat. The park connects to the Point Loma Ecological Reserve and attracts both locals and visitors. The park's rugged coastline and panoramic views make it popular with surfers, ocean-gazers, and those who cruise Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. The drive along the cliffs offers breathtaking views and amazing sunsets. Since it's located south of the OB Pier, Sunset Cliffs Blvd. is easily accessible. You should visit this place and have fun.

San Diego Loses Access to Water from Lake Hodges

San Diego has lost access to Lake Hodges water due to a state order by the Division of Safety of Dams, which shut down a pipeline operated by the San Diego County Water Authority. The city is under the state order to keep Lake Hodges water levels low at 280 feet due to the unsafe Hodges Dam. Since January, San Diego has released 619 million gallons of water from Lake Hodges, and there is no end in sight, as another storm is on its way next week. City officials argue that the dam needs to be replaced due to its age, but other district officials who have water rights to Lake Hodges say that the city has not maintained the dam properly for decades.
